Ocean Pearl Tutorial
You will need:
Tube - I used one of Steve Baier tubes. You need to be a registered
member of UpYourArt to purchase his tubes, but any nice tube will do.
Scrap kit called ' Ocean Pearls' from FantasyMoments Scraps

You will need a nice beach image or photo or you can use the one I have
in my supplies.
Half Moon Slatt & font 'Vein' in my supplies
HERE
New white canvas 700x700
Copy & paste HalfMoon Slatt as a new layer. Copy & paste Beach Photo as a new layer.
On the HalfMoon Slatt - Select All-Float-Defloat-Selections-Invert. Make your Beach
Photo layer active, hit delete.Selections-None. Delete the original HalfMoon Slatt.
Duplicate the HalfMoon Beach Slatt - on the bottom layer of the slatt - ADJUST-BLUR-
GAUSSIAN BLUR 35. Make top layer slatt active, give it this drop shadow.
Copy & paste Element 13 from scarp kit as a new layer. Move it down under top slatt layer.
Move across to the left of the slatt. Duplicate - IMAGE-MIRROR
Copy & paste Element 40 from scrap kit as anew layer. Resize 70% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Move down a little over the slatt. Give drop shadow as before.
Copy & paste Element 75 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 35% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Move across to left side of heart frame. Duplicate, move a little to the left & down, duplicate
once more & move a little down as well. Give each layer of the flower drop shadow.
Copy & paste Element 72 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 35% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
ADJUST-SHARPEN MORE. Move across to the right side of heart frame. Give drop shadow. IMAGE-
FREE ROTATE-ROTATE 35 left.
Copy & paste your tube as a new layer. Position the tube where it will look nice. Give drop shadow.
Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) Merge Visible all other layers. Open the eyes up.
Resize your image 90% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Duplicate & on original image layer -
ADJUST-BLUR-GAUSSIAN BLUR 35. Then go to EFFECT-TEXTURE EFFECTS-TEXTURE with these setting
I used the 'crumpled paper' texture. Repeat that texture effect once more. Make top image layer
active - MERGE DOWN Add your name & correct copyright. Merge Down these layers. You should now have
the white bottom layer & your merged layer. Crop Tool - carefully crop excess white background.
After cropping, I resized 78% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED. Click on blue bar up top of your image,
COPY & paste as a NEW LAYER on your workspace. Your image should now have a transparent background.
Save as a *Png.
