Surfs Up Tutorial

Click on the image to see larger version I created this tut in PSPX1 (11) but it can be done with any version of PSP. This is an easy tutorial with not much to do, just take your time. No outside filters used You will need: A beachy type of tube. I used one of Robert Freemans lovely ladies. You need to be a registered member of CDO HERE to purchase his tubes, but any tube will do. Template 'Surfs Up' from Erica of BrutalDesigns HERE Mask #34 also from Erica of BrutalDesigns HERE Scrap kit called 'Beach Mornings' from Artmama's Studio HERE Font I used is called 'Balkeno' from DaFont.com HERE Open up the mask, minimise it. Open up the 'Surfs Up' template. Click Shift D to copy it. Delete original template. Delete raster 1 (copyright & TOU). Make bottom layer active. Flood fill with white. Blue Ocean Tutorial

Beach Mornings Tutorial

Something a little different this time. We will be using a scrap kit along with a free cluster. You will need: A tube - I used one of Lorenzo Di Mauro tubes. You need to be a registered member of his site HERE to purchase his PSP tubes, but any tube will do. Scrap kit called 'Beach Mornings' from Artmama's Studio HERE Scroll down a little till you see 4/30/10, you will see the download under the previews. Mask 10 from Artmama's Studio HERE Ocean Solace Free Cluster from Raspberry Road Designs HERE Font I used is called SandyTextHmkBold HERE New white canvas 700x700 Open up & minimize the mask Open up the Ocean Solace Cluster - resize 18% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED. **As with a lot of my tutorials, I use free scrap kits from a lot of different scrap kit makers. I do include the link to the site/page those scrap kits can be obtained from, but sometimes those scrap kits become no longer available or the site closes. Scrap kit called ' Ocean Pearls' from FantasyMoments Scraps HERE You will need a nice beach image or photo or you can use the one I have in my supplies. Half Moon Slatt & font 'Vein' in my supplies HERE New white canvas 700x700 Copy & paste HalfMoon Slatt  as a new layer. Copy & paste Beach Photo as a new layer. On the HalfMoon Slatt - Select All-Float-Defloat-Selections-Invert. Make your Beach Photo layer active, hit delete.Selections-None. Delete the original HalfMoon Slatt. Last Summer Tutorial

You will need: Tube - I used one of Jamie Kidd's lovely ladies. You need to be a registered member of CILM to purchase her tubes, but any tube will do. Scrap kit called 'Last Summer' from FantasyMoments Scraps HERE You will need a seaside photo. You can use mine if you wish HERE New white canvas 700x700 Copy & paste one of the Frame elements from the scrap kit as a new layer. Resize it 75% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Move the frame across to the right of your canvas - duplicate-Mirror. Move the 2 frames together. Merge Down. Selection Tool-Rectangle-draw out a rectangle around the frames like this. New raster layer - copy & paste your seaside photo into selection. Select-None. Move the seaside photo below the frames. Make your frames layer active - Merge Down. Summer Days Tutorial

You will need: A nice summery tube - I used one from Jamie Kidd. You must be a registered member of CILM to buy the tubes. Scrapkit called "Summer Day" from FantasyMonents Scraps HERE Font of choice My supplies - Vix Mask-41 - please don't change file name of mask. HERE New white canvas 700x700 Copy & paste one of the Heart Elements from scrapkit as a new layer. Resize it 85% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Select 2 of the colourful flowers from the scrap kit - resize them 80% Bicubic-all layers unchecked, placing them down the side of the heart. Merge Down the flowers - give them this drop shadow Copy & paste one of the Caterpillar elements from scrapkit - resize 50% Bicubic-all layers inchecked - place him over the flowers. Carefully with your Eraser Tool, erase some of the body of the Caterpillar so it looks as though he is inter-twined with the flowers.
