Sweet Nothings Tutorial

You will need:

A tube of choice, I am using a PFU tube from
©CaronVinson @ CILM. You must be a registered member
to use her tubes.
Scrapkit called Sweet Nothings from BlueDream Designs HERE
Font of choice
A doodle or embelishment of choice
Wordart of choice
Plugin Filter-Alien Skin-Xenofex 2-Constellation
Animation Shop

New white canvas 700x550

Selection Tool-Rectangle - these settings

Draw out a rectangle - centre of your white canvas like this

Copy & paste BD-SweetNothings-Paper2 as a new layer - Selections-Invert,
hit delete. Select None

Drop Shadow with these settings

Preset Shapes-Rectangle - size 3, Foreground colour white-Background colour nil

Place your curser up top left corner so that the + touches top & side - draw out a rectangle
like this

Copy & paste BD-SweetNothings-Frame6 as a new layer-resize 55%-All Layers unchecked.
Place it centre of your rectangle - see mine for example

Magic Wand Tool, click inside frame - Selections-Modify-Expand 3. Copy & paste BD-SweetNothings-Paper3
as a new layer - Selections-Invert-hit delete. Bring paper layer below frame. Select None.

Give the frame the same drop shadow as before.

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - resize if needed. Give it the same drop shadow.

At this stage you can add your doodle/embelishment of choice - Make white background layer active - new raster layer
& apply your doodle/embelishment.

Go to the white rectangle frame layer, cross out eyes on that layer. Also cross out the eyes on the layers below it.
Merge visible all other layers. Now uncross the eyes layers, go to the coloured rectangle layer & doodle/embelishment layer, merge down.
Duplicate that layer, on original layer go to Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 35. Effects-Texture Effects-Texture & selection as nice
texture effect. Merge Down those 2 layers once more.
You should have 4 layers

Make top layer active, add a new raster layer, add your Wordart.When you have done that, merge down.

Back to the white rectangle layer - Selections-Select All-Float-Defloat - duplicate 3 times to give you 4 layers.

Effects-Plugins-Alien Skin-Xenofex 2 with these settings

Cross out eyes on that layer & uncross the eyes on the next layer, making it active - hit Random Speed in
Xenofex Constellation - do this for the other 2 duplicated layers. Selections-Select None.

Add your name & correct copyright.

Now to resize before we animate your tag - Image-Resize 80% - All Layers checked.


Make your top layer active - uncross the eyes on original white rectangle layer - Copy Merged,
Animation Shop - paste as a New Animation. Back to your PSP, cross out the eyes on that layer, uncross the eyes on
next layer, Copy Merged - AS - paste After Currant FRame. Back to PSP, do the same for other 2 layers.

Animation Shop-Edit-Select All - save as a *Gif.
