Polkadot Tutorial





You will need:

A good knowledge of your PSP - I use PSPX1 but can be done in
earlier & later versions
A tube - I used a PFU tube from ©Chrissy Clark
You have to be a registered member of My Tag Art

to buy the tubes. But you can use any tube you like.
Scrap Kit called "Polkadot" from DesignsByVaybs
HERE
Font - OogieBoogie - in my supplies
HERE
Plugin Filters:
FM File Tools-Blend Emboss

New white canvas 700x700



We will crop down at the end.

Copy & paste one of the Star Frames from the Scrap Kit
that will match your tube.
Magic Wand - click inside of the Star - Selections-Modify-
Expand 5. Copy & paste a Paper from the Scrap Kit as a new layer.
Selections-Invert - hit delete. Selections-None. Move the Paper layer
below the Star layer.
Give the Star this drop shadow



Copy & paste the Polkadot Wire as a new layer - Duplicate-Mirror, move the mirrored
copy down a little-Image-Flip. Carefully grab the Flipped wire & move it so it matches



the original wire layer. Merge Down. Selections-Select All-Float-Defloat. Flood Fill Tool,
select a nice colour from your tube & flood fill the merged Wire.
Selections-None. Move the merged Wire layer below the Paper layer.

Make top layer active - copy & paste one of the Polkadot Bubble Branches as a new layer.
Resize 70% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Move the Bubble Branch to one side of the Star.
See mine for example. Plugins - FM Tile Filter-Blend Emboss - default settings

Copy & paste 2 of the Polkadot Flowers as a new layer - mix-n-match the flowers. You may need
to resize the flowers a little - I resized mine 75% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. FM File Filter
once more on the flowers. Give the flowers the same drop shadow as before.

Copy & paste one of the Poilkadot Bottlecaps as a new layer - resize 65% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Fm File Filter once more. Drop shadow.

Copy & paste your tube as anew layer - FM File Filter once more. Drop shadow

At this stage - cross out the eyes on your bottom layer (white) Merge Visible all other layers.
Resize your image 85% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Duplicate-On your original image layer-Adjust-Blur,
Gaussian Blur 25 - Effects-Texture Effects-Blinds with these settings. Select a light colour from
your tube



Make top layer active-Merge Down. Add your name & correct copyright.
Now, you can use one of the Word Art's from the Scrap Kit if you wish. Colourize it to suit your tube.
Crop Tool - crop to remove excess white background. You may need to resize. Save as a *Png.

Blasted Grid Tutorial
