Garvey Sands Tutorial

You will need:
A tube - I used one from Keith Garvey. You need to be a
registered member of MPT to purchase the tubes, but any tube will do.
Scrap kit called ' FM-Sandstorm' from FantasyMoments Scraps

A nice scripty font - I used French Scrip
Plugin Filter-FM Tilke Tools-Blend Emboss - optional
A new white canvas 700x700
We will resize at the end before animation.
I used the Plugin Filter-FM Tile Tools-Blend Emboss to give a nice
bevel to all the elements & tube I used in this tutorial. That choice
is yours if you want to use it.
Copy & paste one of the round Frame Elements from scrap kit
(74,75,76) as a new layer - resize 85% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Preset Shape-Eclipse-width 4 - Foreground any colour as we will delete this.
Background null - draw out a circle about the same size as the outer circles
of the frame - Convert to Raster.
Magic Wand, click inside the circle you just drew,
copy & paste one of the Papers from the scrap kit as a new layer - Selections,
Invert - hit delete. Now you can delete the circle you drew. Still on the Paper layer,
go to Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 35. Next, go to Effects-Texture Effects-Tiles with these settings
Make top layer active - copy & paste one of the Flower Garland Elements (39,40,41) as a new layer.
Resize 45% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Drop shadow with these settings
Copy & paste one of the Candles as a new layer. Resize 35% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Place the Candle
middle of the Flower Garland. Reduce the Opacity of the candle a little so you can see the flowers under it,
Eraser Tool, carefull erase some of the candle base, so it looks like it is sitting inside the flowers. Give
drop shadow.
Copy & paste one of the Bow & Heart Elements as a new layer - resize 45% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Drop shadow.
Place it where it will look nice.
Copy & paste your tube as a new layer. Carefull erase any of the tube that may be protruding below the
Frame. Give drop shadow.Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white), Merge Visible all other layers.
Add your name & correct copyright. Crop Tool - crop excess white background. Resize 80% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED.
ANIMATION
Copy Merged - open up your Animation Shop - paste as a New Animation. Open up the Sparkly Bling from my
supplies - Edit-Select All.
Now, on your Merged image - Up top on Blue Bar, right click COPY, hold down the Ctrl key & hit L 7 times to
give you 8 frames. Up to Edit-Select All.
Copy the Sparkly Bling & Paste into Selected Frame
Carefully place the Sp[arkly Bling on top of the Candle wick. If it isn't the right place, just click the arrow up
top on the tool bar & paste again.
Save as a *Gif
