Jeans and Satin Tutorial





You will need:

Tube - I used one of Keith Garvey tubes.
You need to be a registered member of MPT to
purchase the tubes - but any tube will do.
Scrap kit called 'Jeans and Satin' from Beacreations

New white canvas 700x700



We will resize at the end.

Copy & paste one of the round Frames as a new layer. Magic Wand,
click inside of the Frame - Selections-Modify-Expand 5. Select one of the
pPapers from the scrap kit & paste it as a new layer. Selections-Invert, hit
delete. Selections-None. Move the Paper layer below the Frame layer. Duplicate
the Paper layer & on the original Paper layer go to Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 25.
Resize 125% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Effects-Texture Effects-FineLeather with
these settings



Choose a light colour from your tube for the Colour in that Texture.

Make top layer active - Copy & paste one of the Bows from the scrap kit - resize 65%
Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Image-Sharpen - give this drop shadow



Move the Bow to top centre of the round Frame.Make your bottom layer active (white)
copy & paste one of the Glitter Tiles as a new layer - move slightly to the left side of the Blurred
layer - duplicate-Mirror.

Make top layer active - copy & paste one of the Flowers from the scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 65%
Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Move the Flower to the side of the Frame. Copy & paste another flower
from scrap kit & do the same as the 1st one.

Copy & paste either the Wireheart Elelemnt or one of the Tags as a new layer. Move it down one layer
so it is between the 2 Flowers. Copy & paste one of the Butterflies as a new layer. Resize 65% Bicubic-all
layers unchecked-Adjust-Sharpen More. Give drop shadow as before

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer. Give your tube the same drop shadow.
Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) Merge Visible all other layers. Add your name & correct copyright.
Merge Visible. Uncross the eyes on bottom layer. Crop Tool - crop excess white background. Copy & paste as
a New Image on your workspace - I resized mine 85% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED. Save as a *Png
