Morning Glory Tutorial

You will need:

Tube - I used one of Caron Vinson tubes
You need to be a registered member of CILM to
purchase the tubes.
Scrap kit called "Morning Glory" from FantasyMoments Scraps
HERE
Font of choice - I used BaaBookHmk which came with my PSPX1
PLugin Filter:
FilterFactory-Q-Mosiac (optional)

New white canvas 700x700



Copy & paste one of the Frames from scrap kit as a new layer.
Resize 80% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Image-Free Rotate-Rotate
90 right. Using your Mover Tool, move the frame to the middle of
your white canvas.

Magic Wand - click inside the frame - Selections-Modify-Expand 4.
New raster layer - pick 2 colours from your tube - light for the
foreground & a darker colour for your background - Gradient with these settings



Flood Fill - move this layer below the frame layer. Keep selected - Effects,
Texture Effects-Mosaic Antique with these settings



Selections-None. Make frame layer active - give this drop shadow



Copy & paste one of the Flower Bunches as a new layer - resize 70% Bicubic,
all layers unchecked. Adjust-Sharpen - give drop shadow as before.
Move over the Bow on frame
Duplicate - Mirror-Flip. It should be top right corner.
Copy & paste another Flower Bunch (see mine for example) as a new layer.
Resize 60% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.Move to bottom right corner.
Adjust-Sharpen - Duplicate-Mirror-Flip. It should be sitting top left corner.
Copy & paste one of the Flower Dangles as a new layer. Resize 60% as before.
Move Flower Dangle to top right corner. Adjust-Sharpen.

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer. If your tube protrudes over the frame - use your
Freehand Selection Tool - draw around bottom of tube - hit delete.



I hid all the elements before I done this. Give your tube drop shadow as before.
Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) - Merge Visible all other layers. Resize your
merged image 85% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Open up the eyes on bottom layer. On
your merged image - duplicate - on original merged image - Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 25.
Plugin Filter-FilterFactory-Q-Mosiac with default settings.
If you don't have Filter Factory filters - try using one of your Texture Effects.
Make top merged layer active - Merge Down. Add your name & correct copyright.
Crop Tool - crop excess white background. Copy & paste as a New Image on your workspace.
I resized mine 80% Bicubic - all layers CHECKED. You should have a transparent background
Save as a *Png.

Blasted Grid Tutorial

Sorry if the links no longer work With scrapkits, if the link or site is missing, choose a similar scrapkit I created this tut in PSPX4 (14) but it can be done with any version of PSP.
