Summer Lovin Tutorial





You will need:


Tube - I used one from Jamie Kidd. You need
to be a registered member of CILM to purchase her tubes,
but any summery tube will do.
Template 144 from DenzDesignz

Scrap Kit called "Lovely' from ScrapityScrapsandMore

(last one on list) It will give you the option to open in your
PSP, click that.
Font - Peinaud Medium in my supplies

Plugin Filters:
Eyecandy 4000-Gradient Glow
Filter Factory-Gallery J-Blast 'Em! Blur


Download Template 144 to your PSP or open it up from where you
have it stored.
Click Shift D to copy the template. Delete the original template.
Make on the blank background layer active - go to Image-Canvas Size
with these settings



Delete the very top layer - Denz's TOU layer

Make 'summer lovin WA layer active on the template - Plugin Filters-Eyecandy 4000,
Gradient Glow with these settings




(Select a colour from your tube for the main colour of the Fluorescent Tubing)

Flood Fill bottom layer with white so you can see what you are doing.

Make Hearts layer active on the template - do the same Eyecandy Gradient Glow as above.

Open up 2 Papers from the scrap kit.
Make Black Circle layer active on the template-Select All-Float-Defloat - paste one of the Papers
as a new layer - Sections-Invert-hit delete. Selections-None. Same Eyecandy Gradient Glow. Delete
Black Circle layer.

Make Heart Gradient layer active on the template - Select All-Float-Defloat-flood fill with
a colour from your tube - keep selected - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - move so that
your tube is centre of the selected heart - selections-Invert - hit delete. Selections-None.

Make Heart Frame layer active on the template - Select All-Float-Defloat-copy & paste another paper
from the scrap kit as a new layer - Selections-Invert - hit delete. Selections-None. Same Eyecandy
Gradient Glow as before - Delete original Heart Frame layer.

Make top Orange Circle right layer active on the template - Merge Down to the Orangle Circle left.
Select All-Float-Defloat - paste one of your papers as a new layer-Selections-Invert- hit delete.
Selections-None - sma Eyecandy Gradient Glow as before.Delete the 2 orange circles.

Merge Down the 2 Dotted Circles as before. Give the Eyecandy Gradient Glow.

Copy & paste one of the Flower Elements from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 85% Bicubic-all layers
unchecked. Adjust-Sharpen. Move the Flower over to one of the Paper Circles - Duplicate-Mirror, move to
other Paper Circle. Merge Down the 2 Flowers.

Make the black 'Had Me a Blast WA layer active on the template. Give the same Eyecandy-Gradient Glow as before
Make the Orange Wordart layer active on the template - Seelect All-Float-Defloat - paste one of the Papers as
a new layer-Selections-Invert- hit delete. Selections-Non. Delete the Orange wordart layer.

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - placing it where it will look nice. I feathered the bottom of my tube
to make her look as though she is coming out of the Wordadart.

Cross out the eyes on the bottom layer (white) Merge Visible all other layers. Open the eyes up again
on bottom layer - make it active - copy & paste one of the Doodle Elements (67 or 68) from scrap kit as a new layer.
Move to the side of your merge image - duplicate-mirror - Merge Down - resize 75% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Resize 85% Bicubic-all layers unchecked - Duplicate & make bottom Merged
Layer active - Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 25. Plugin Filters-FilterFactory Gallery J- Blast 'Em! Blur with these settings



Copy & paste the Wooden Bridge Element as a new layer from scrap kit. Resize 70% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Move the Bridge layer between top Merged Image & the Blasted image layer (see mine for example)
Add your name & correct copyright.Make your top Merged Image layer active - Merge Down & Merge Down again.
You should have 2 layers in your layers




Crop Tool - crop excess white background. Copy & paste as a New Image on your workspace.
You should have a transparent background. I resize 83% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED.
Save as a *Png
