Blue Heart Tutorial





You will need:

Tube - I used one of Joel Adams cute tubes. You need to be a registered
member of CILM to purchase his tubes but any tube will do.
Scrap kit called 'Famous Last Words' from FantasyMoments Scraps
HERE
Font I used is called 'Cursif'.
Mask 261 from WeeScotLass
HERE


New white canvas 700x700



Copy & paste a paper from the scrap kit as a new layer. Open up & minimise Mask 261.
New Mask Layer - From Image with these settings



Merge Group. Resize 90% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Copy & paste Element 26 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 80% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
ADJUST-SHARPEN.

Copy & paste Element 4 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 85% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Move this layer below the frame layer. ADJUST-SHARPEN.

Copy & paste Element 8 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 50% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
ADJUST-SHARPEN. Move to bottom of the frame. Give the ribbon this drop shadow



Copy & paste Element 35 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 65% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Give drop shadow as before. Move the hearts on top of the ribbon.

Copy & paste Element 78 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 80% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
ADJUST-SHARPEN. Move to the left of the frame.

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer. Erase any of the tube that may be protruding below the hearts.
Give drop shadow.

Add your name & correct copyright. Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) MERGE VISIBLE all other layers.
Open the eyes up. CROP TOOL, crop excess white background. I resized 84% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED.
Click on blue bar at top of image - COPY & paste as a NEW IMAGE on your workspace. Your image should
now have a transparent background. Save as a *Png.

Sorry if the links no longer work With scrapkits, if the link or site is missing, choose a similar scrapkit I created this tut in PSPX4 (14) but it can be done with any version of PSP.
