Elizabeth Tutorial






You will need:

Tube - I used one of Lacy Clagg's tubes.

Scrap kit called ' My Dreams' from FantasyMoments Scraps

Mask-gh_grungeframe12mask - from Bunny's Attic - it is the 6th one down
the right side

Font I used is called 'Black Chancery'


New white canvas 700x700



Copy & paste a paper from the scrap kit as a new layer. OPen up the mask, minimise it.
New Mask Layer-From Image with these settings



Merge Group - resize 90% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.

Copy & paste element 44 from scrap kit as anew layer. Resize 50% Bicubic-all layers
unchecked. Image-Free Rotate-Rotate 90 right - Flip. Move the ribbon to the left side
of the mask. Adjust-Sharpen.

Copy & paste element 73 from scrap kit as anew layer. Resize 53% Bicubic-all layers
unchecked. Adjust-Sharpen. Move this layer below the ribbon layer, to bottom of the mask.

Make top layer active - copy & paste element 14 from scrap kit as a new layer, Resize 40%
Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Adjust-Sharpen More. Duplicate - Image-Mirror. Give each of the
flowers this drop shadow.



Give both the ribbons the same drop shadow. Copy & paste element 11 from scrap kit. Resize 35%
Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Adjust-Sharpen More. Give drop shadow - duplicate - Image Mirror.

Copy & paste element 40 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 35% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Image-Free Rotate-rotate25 right. Adjust-Sharpen More. Give drop shadow. Copy & paste element 43
& do the same as element 40, but rotate 25 left. Place the butterfly ribbons on the right side of
the mask.

Copy & paste your tube as anew layer placing it where it will look nice. Give your tube a supple
drop shadow. Move your tube down a few layers so it is behind the horizontal ribbon & flowers.

Make your mask layer active - go to Effects-Illumination Effects-Sunburst, with a colour from your
tube, use these settings.



Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) Merge Visible all other layers. Add your name & correct copyright.
With the eyes still closed on bottom layer, Merge Visible once again all other layers. Open the eyes on
bottom layer - Crop Tool, crop excess white background. With your merged image active, click on top Blue Bar,
COPY & paste as a NEW IMAGE on your workspace. Your image should now have a transparent background.
I resized my image 87% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED, but that choice is yours. Save as a *Png.
