Colour My World Tutorial

You will need:

Tube - I used one of Bessy Ho's cute tubes:

purchase Bessy's cute tubes

Scrap kit called 'Colour My Life' from FantasyMoments Scraps
HERE
Mask 15 from Babe's Designs
HERE


New white canvas 700x700



Open up & minimise the mask for now. Copy & paste a paper from scrap
kit as a new layer
New Mask Layer-From Image with these settings



Merge Group. Resize 85% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Copy & paste another
paper from scrap kit as a new layer - Mask once again as before. This time
resize 80% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.

Copy & paste one of the Frames from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 70%
Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Magic Wand, click inside the frame - Selections-
Modify-Expand 6, copy & paste a paper from scrap kit as a new layer - Selections-
Invert, hit delete. Move the paper layer below the frame layer. Selections-None.
Give frame this drop shadow



Copy & paste one of the flower boquets from the scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 60%
Bicubic-all layers unchecked. ADJUST-SHARPEN - IMAGE-MIRROR Move down over bottom right
bow of frame. Give drop shadow

Copy & paste one of the Flowers from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 80% Bicubic-all
layers unchecked. Move across to top right of frame.

Copy & paste one of the Butterflies from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 60% Bicubic-all
layers unchecked. Give drop shadow.

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - place the tube where it will look nice. Give drop
shadow. Cross out eyes on bottom Layer (white), also the 2 mask layers. MERGE VISIBLE all
other layers. Uncross eyes on bottom & mask layers, making your merged image active, resize
your merged image 90% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Merge Down - twice so you have 2 layers
on your Layers Palette.



Add your name & correct copyright. Merge Down again. Crop Tool - crop excess white background.
Resize 90% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED. Click on top blue bar - COPY & Paste as NEW LAYER on
your workspace. Your merged image should now have a transparent background. Save as a *Png.
