Shades Of Pink Tutorial

You will need:

Tube - I used one of Elias Chatzoudis tubes. You need to
be a registered member of MPT (MyPSPTubes) to purchase his
artwork, but any tube will do.
Scrap kit called 'Espirit' from FantasyMoments Scraps
HERE
My supplies 'ShadesOfPink' Template
HERE
Font I used is called 'Curlz MT'


Open up my SoP Template - click Shift D to copy it. Delete original template.
Delete top layer - make bottom layer active (white) Go to Image-Canvas Size
with these settings



Make top layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat - copy & paste a paper from
scrap kit as a new layer - Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Delete
original layer. Effects-3D Effects-Inner Bevel with these settings.



Magic Wand - click inside both frames - Selections-Modify-Expand 3. Copy & paste
another paper from scrap kit as a new layer. Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-
None. Move the paper layer below template layer.

Make top layer active - copy & paste your tube as a new layer. Move your tube to either
the right or left frame - Freehand Selection Tool, draw around bottom of your tube that is
protruding below the frame - hit delete. Selections-None Duplicate your tube.



IMAGE-MIRROR. Give each layer of your tube this drop shadow



Copy & paste Element 3 from scrap kit as a new layer - resize 60% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
You may need to move the clock down a little. Give drop shadow.

Copy & paste Element 6 from scrap kit as a new layer - resize 60% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
IMAGE_FLIP. Move the ribbon layer down under the clock layer so that it covers the bottom of
your tubes. ADJUST-SHARPEN, give drop shadow.

Make top layer active. Copy & paste Element 56 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 35% Bicubic-
all layers unchecked. ADJUST-SHARPEN. Give drop shadow. Move the bow to the side of the frame,
duplicate - IMAGE-MiRROR. (See mine for example)

Add your name & correct copyright. Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) MERGE VISIBLE all other
layers. Resize merged layer 85% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Duplicate & on the original merged layer,
go to ADJUST-BLUR-GAUSSIAN BLUR 35. Go to Effects-Texture Effects-Fine Leather with these settings



Make top layer active - MERGE DOWN to textured layer. Open eyes up. Crop Tool, crop excess white background.
Resize once more 85% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED. Cross out eyes on bottom layer. Click top blue bar -
COPY & paste as a NEW IMAGE on your work space. Save as a *PNG.
