Yesterday Tutorial

You will need:

Tube - I used one from LisaK-SophisticatedScraps
The tube I used is a PayForUse tube but she does have some
lovely Free To Use tubes on her site

But you can use any tube you like.
Scrap kit called 'Romancing The Heart' from Designs By Vaybs
HERE
Font I used is called 'Parkland Serif' I'm not sure where I got the font
from so I can't share it with you, sorry.



New white canvas 700x700



Preset Shape Tool-Rectangle with these settings



Foreground colour from your tube - Background Nul, draw out a rectangle
to fill central part of your canvas - OBJECTS-ALIGN-CENTRE IN CANVAS.
Convert to Raster Layer. EFFECTS-3D EFFECTS-INNER BEVEL with these settings



Magic Wand, click inside your rectangle - Selections-
Modify-Expand 3. Copy & paste a Paper from scrap kit as a new layer. Selections-
Invert, hit delete. Keep SELECTED - move the paper layer below your rectangle layer.
Copy & paste Element 2 from scrap kit as a new layer - move down a bit so whole of
text is visible within the selection, hit delete. Selections-None.
Give your rectangle this drop shadow



Copy & paste Element 30 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 85% Bicubic-all layers
unchecked. Move this layer down above your white background layer. Copy & paste Element 20
from scrap kit as a new layer.
Make top layer active, copy & paste Element 11 from scrap kit as a new layer. Move up so the left
hand small heart is level with left top of your rectangle. ADJUST-SHARPEN.

Copy & paste Element 7 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 80% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
ADJUST-SHARPEN. Move across to right bottom corner of your rectangle.
Copy & paste Element 9 from scrap kit as a new layer, resizing same as other element. ADJUST-SHARPEN.
Move across to left bottom corner of your rectangle.

Copy & paste Element 26 from scrap kit as a new layer. ADJUST-SHARPEN. Move across to the right a
little.
Copy & paste your tube as a new layer, placing the tube where it will look nice. Give drop shadow.
Add your name & correct copyright.
Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) MERGE VISIBLE all other layers.Have your merged image active,
click COPY & PASTE as a NEW IMAGE on your workspace. Resize 78% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED.
Save as a *Png.

"Daring" Tutorial

You will need: A tube - I used one of Brian Roods. You must be a registered member of CILM to buy the tubes. Scrapkit called "Elegance" from Sophisticatsimone Mask 17 from WeeScotsLass Font The scrapkit, mask & font are in my supplies HERE Plugin Filters - Ommadawn New white canvas 650x650 Open up the scrapkit & mask - minimise the mask for now. Selections-Select All - new raster layer, copy one of the papers from the scrapkit & paste it into Selection. Selections-Select None. New Mask Layer-From Image with these settings Merge Group Resize mask- 85% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Duplicate-Mirror-Merge Down Duplicate once more & on original mask layer - Effects-Plugins-Ommadawn Filter with the default settings. Merge Down Copy & paste Heart Big from scrapkit as a new layer. Magic Wans, click inside of the Big Heart. Selections-Modify-Expand 5. Copy & paste another paper from scrapkit as a new layer. S
