Angela Tutorial




**As with a lot of my tutorials, I use free scrap kits from a lot of different scrap kit makers.
I do include the link to the site/page those scrap kits can be obtained from, but sometimes
those scrap kits become no longer available or the site closes. When this happens, I do endeavor
to add a new link, but if I don't, please use another scrap kit of your choice that is almost
the same as the one that I used in my tutorials. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.**

You will need:

A close up tube - I used one from Jennifer Janesko. You need to be a registered member of CILM
to purchase her tubes, but any close up or head shot tube will do.
Scrap kit called 'Angela' from Bea Creations
HERE
Font I used is called 'ValentinaJF'

Mask 7 from Miggins Place
HERE


New white canvas 800x700



Preset Shapes-Circle-width 40 - foreground #808080 (light grey) background nil, holding down your Shift key,
draw out a medium sized circle. Objects-Align-Centre in Canvas. Convert to Raster Layer.



Magic Wand - click the coloured part of your circle. Copy & paste a Paper from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize
about 80% Bicubic-all layers unchecked - this will give your paper a more definate detail. Selections,
Invert, hit delete. You can now delete your original circle.

Click inside your circle - Selections-Modify-Expand 8. Copy & paste another Paper from scrap kit as a new layer.
Resize the same as before. Selections-Invert, hit delete - keep selected - move that paper layer below your
coloured circle layer.

Make top layer active - Copy & paste your close up or head shot tube as a new layer, hit delete. Move your tube layer below
the coloured circle layer. Give your tube & coloured circle this drop shadow



Have top layer active - copy & paste Ribbon 2 from scrap kit as a new layer. Eraser Tool, carefully erase the
ends of the ribbon close to the circle. Give drop shadow.

Copy & paste Flower 18 from scrap kit as a new layer. Move across to the left of the circle -
duplicate-Image-Mirror.

Copy & paste Flower 05 from scrap kit as a new layer. Move across to the right of the circle. (see mine for example)
Duplicate-Image-Mirror.

Copy & paste Flower 04 as a new layer - Image-Free Rotat-Rotate90 right. Move the flower layer down under the 2
previous flower layers. Carefully ersae the stem from new flower. Duplicate-Image-Mirror.

Copy & paste Bow 2 from scrap kit as a new layer. MOve Bow up to top of circle - Adjust-Sharpen - give drop shadow.

Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white0 MERGE VISIBLE all other layers. OPen eyes on bottom layer, make it active -
new Raster layer - flood fill with a dark colour from your tube. New Mask Layer-From Image with these settings.



Add your name & correct copyright. Cross out eyes on bottom layer once more - MERGE VISIBLE all other layers.
Open eyes up again on bottom layer. Click COPY on top blue bar & Paste as a New Image on your workspace.
Resize 70% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED. Save as a *Png

Blasted Grid Tutorial
