Shattered Tutorial




**As with a lot of my tutorials, I use free scrap kits from a lot of different scrap kit makers.
I do include the link to the site/page those scrap kits can be obtained from, but sometimes
those scrap kits become no longer available or the site closes. When this happens, I do endeavor
to add a new link, but if I don't, please use another scrap kit of your choice that is almost
the same as the one that I used in my tutorials. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.**

You will need:

Tube - I used one of Ismael Rac lovely ladies. You need to be a registered member of Xeracx
HERE
to purchase his tubes, but any tube will do.
Plugin Filter - Andrews Filter Collection 61 - Shattered Frames. You can get the whole collection from
HERE
if you don't have them.
Eyecandy 4000-Glass
Font I used is called 'Sachiko' - you can get it from Dafont.com

New white canvas 700x700



Preset Shapes tool - Circle with these settings



Draw out a large circle holding down your Shift key. Convert to Raster Layer. Magic Wand, click
inside your circle - Selections-Modify-Expand-4. New Raster Layer - food fill with a colour from
your tube. Bring this layer below your circle layer - keep selected.

Plugin Filters - Andrews Filter Collection 61 with these settings



Do not de-select just yet - copy & paste your tube as a new layer, move your tube within the circle where
it will look best - Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None.

Now, we will give the circle frame a nice Bevel. Select All-Float-Defloat - Eyecandy 4000-Glass
with these settings

Give the circle frame & your tube this drop shadow



Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) MERGE VISIBLE all other layers - Duplicate-Image-Mirror. Resize
duplicated image 855 Bicubic-all layers unchecked. MOve the larger image up & to the left a little. Move
the smaller image down & to the right a little (see mine for example).

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - move it so it is between the 2 merged images. Give drop shadow.
Cross out eyes on bottom layer once more - MERGE VISIBLE all other layers. Open eyes up on bottom layer.
Make your merged image active - resize 85% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Duplicate & on the original merged
layer go to Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 30. Effects-Texture Effects-Texture with these settings



I used the 'Small Bricks' Texture - repeat that Texture Effect once more to give a deeper effect.
Add your name & correct copyright.
Cross out eyes once more on bottom layer - MERGE VISIBLE all other layers - click COPY on top blue bar & PASTE
as a New Image on your workspace. Resize 74% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED. Save as a *Png.
