Stormy Night Tutorial
You will need:
Close-up Tube - I used one of Jamie Kidds tubes.
You need to be a registered member of CILM to purchase
her tubes, but any tube will do.
A photo or a free image of a night sky.
Font I used is called Avalon Medium

No scrap kits with this tutorial, just your PSP Tools
& your imagination & patients.
New transparent canvas 600x450
Select a light colour from your tube for your foreground
colour in you Material Palette & a dark colour for the
background.
Make your gradient with these settings
Flood Fill the transparent canvas with your gradient.
Go to Effects-Texture Effects-Blinds with these settings
Selection Tool - Rectangle, draw out a rectangle about half way
across your canvas - top to bottom
Copy & paste your photo or image as a new layer - move into place.
Selections-Invert, hit delete. Keep selected but Invert again.
Go to Selections-Modify-Select Selection Borders with these settings
New Raster layer - flood fill with your gradient. Selections-None. Go
to Effects-3D Effects-Inner Bevel with these settings
Give this drop shadow
Next, go to Image-Add Borders with these setting. Choose a colour different
from your image.
Magic Wand, click inside your new frame - flood fill with your gradient -
give same Inner Bevel as before. Selections-None - give drop shadow as before.
Copy & paste your Close-up tube as a new layer. Position the tube to the left of
your photo or image frame. Resize if needed. Give the drop shadow as before.
Add your name & correct copyright. Merge Flatten. Resize about 87% Bicubic- all
layers CHECKED. Save as a *Png
