Nature Talk Tutorial

We will work this tutorial in 2 parts, starting with the frame & tube.

You will need:

A tube - I used one of Andy Screens - Anjaradesigns pinup ladies.
You need to be a registered member of Sticker Chick
to purchase his tubes, but any nature type tube will do.
Scrap kit called Nature Talk from Scraps Dimensions
Font I used is called 'Creaminal'
Vix Mask #395 - 3rd one down

New white canvas 850x850

Don't worry about the size, we will resize at the end.

We will do our tube in the frame to start with. Copy & paste Frame 1 from scrap kit
as a new layer. Resize the frame 80% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer. You may have to resize your tube to fit the frame.
Move your tube so that it is sitting central to the frame. Make the frame layer active.
Select All-Float-Defloat. Now make your tube layer active & with your Eraser Tool, carefully
erase parts of the tube over the cross parts of the frame

Selections-None. Make your frame layer active. Magic Wand, click inside both top & bottom parts of
the frame - Selections-Modify-Expand 5. Copy & paste a Paper from scrap kit as a new layer. Selections-Invert,
hit delete. Selections-None. Move the paper layer below the frame layer.
Give both the frame & your tube this drop shadow

Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white), MERGE VISIBLE all other layers. Open the eyes up again on bottom layer.
Move your merged image across to the left a little.

Now, onto the rest of the tutorial.

Make the boittom layer (white) active, new Raster layer - Select All, copy & paste another Paper from scrap kit
Into Selection. Selections-None. New Mask Layer-Add Mask From Image with these settings

Copy & paste Bridge from scrap kit as a new layer. Move the Bridge slightly to the right. Make sure it is the layer
below your merged image.
Copy & paste either of the Bird Houses from scrap kit as a new layer. I use Bird House 2 & resized it 55% Bicubic-
all layers unchecked. Sit the Bird House on post of bridge. Adjust-Sharpen More. Give drop shadow as before.

Copy & paste Flowers 2 from scrap kit as a new layer. Move the Flowers across to bird house & move this layer below
the bird house layer. Adjust-Sharpen.

Make top layer active - copy & paste Flowers 1 from scrap kit as a new layer. Move down so the flowers are sitting
acroiss the bottom of your merged image (see mine for example). Adjust-Sharpen.

Make your mask layer active - copy & paste Tree from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize about 65% Bicubic-all layers
unchecked. Move the tree beside the bridge.Adjust-Sharpen More.
There, we are almost finished.

Add your name & correct copy right. When you have done that, cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) MERGE VISIBLE
all other layers. Click COPY on your merged layer & paste as a New Image on your work space. Your merged image should
now have a transparent back ground. Resize about 68% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED. Save as a *Png.
