Funky Denim Tutorial

Click on image to see larger version

I created this tutorial with PSPX1 but I'm
sure it can be done in any version of PSP.
My steps are easy enough to follow.

You will need:
2 tubes - I used the cutie tubes of ©Cute N Toonz
Thank you Debbie
Scrap kit called 'Funky Denim' from MisfitsScraps - thank you Yvette
Font I used is called 'Fancy Pens' from Dafont.com
Mask #167 from WeeScotsLass - thank you Chelle

New white canvas 800x800

Select All - new raster layer - copy & paste a paper from scrap kit
into Selection. Selections-None.
Open up & minimise the mask 167.
New Mask Layer-From Image with these settings

Merge Group
Copy & paste one of the square frames from scrap kit as a new layer.
Resize 80% Bicubic-all layers Unchecked. Move across to your right a little.
Duplicate - Image-Mirror. On the duplicated frame go to Free Rotate, Rotate 30 left.
Back to original frame - Magic Wand, click inside - Selections-Modify-Expand 9.
Copy & paste another paper from scrap kit as a new layer - move across if needed,
Selections-Invert, hit delete. Move the paper layer below the frame. Keep selected,
copy & paste your tube as a new layer, resizing if needed. Move the tube so it is sitting
inside the frame, hit delete. Selections-None.

Do the same for the duplicated frame but have your tube mirrored
Go back to first tube layer - Blend Mode - Luminance (legacy), the same for
the 2nd tube layer.

Have your top layer active (this should be duplicate frame layer). Copy & paste the
Safety Pin element from scrap kit as a new layer. Place the Safety Pin on top corner,
like mine. Eraser Tool-size 30, erase a little bit of the middle of the safety pin itself.
Add this drop shadow

Add that drop shadow to each of your tube layers.
Copy & paste one of the Bows from scrap kit as a new layer. Adjust-Sharpen More. Add drop
shadow. Image-Free Rotate-Rotae 30 left, place the bow top corner of left frame.

Copy & paste your 2nd tube as a new layer - resize if needed. Add drop shadow & place
between the 2 frames.

Add your name & correct copyright. Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white), Merge Visible
all other layers. Open the eyes up on bottom layer. Crop Tool, crop excess white background.
Click COPY on your merged image & paste as a New Image on your workspace. Your image should
now have a transparent background. Resize if you want - I resized mine 75% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED.
Save as a *Png.
