Call Me Kitty Tutorial

Click on image to see larger version

I created this tut in PSPX1 but it can be done
with any version of PSP. This is an easy tutorial
with not much to do, just take your time.
No outside filters used

You will need:

A close up tube, preferably. I used one of Jose Cano's lovely tubes.
You will need to be a registered member of PTE to purchase his tubes
But any tube will do.
Scrap kit called 'Moca Cream' from LaurieMadeMeScraps
Mask #114 from Gems Taggin Scraps
Font I used is called 'Saliere' from Font Park

New white canvas 800x800

Open up & minimise the mask. Copy & paste a paper from scrap kit as a new layer.
New Mask Layer-From Image with these settings

Merge Group. Resize 90% Bicubic-all layers Unchecked.
Copy & paste element 2 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize the round frame 125%
Bicubic-all layers Unchecked. Adjust-Sharpen.

Magic Wand, click inside the round frame - Selections-Modify-Expand 5.
Copy & paste another paper from scrap kit as a new layer. Selections-Invert, hit delete.
Selections-None. Move the paper layer below the round frame layer.

Make top layer active. Copy & paste element 23 from scrap kit as a new layer. Move element 23
down to bottom right side of the round frame. Duplicate - Image-Mirror. Merge Down. Duplicate
once more - Image-Flip. Merge down once more.

Copy & paste one of the flower elements from scrap kit as a new layer. I used element 28.
Move the flower element acroiss to the right middle side of round frame. Duplicate-Image-Mirror.
Merge Down.

Copy & paste your close up tube as a new layer. Position the tube so it is central in the round frame.
If your tube is sticking out in places - Magic Wand, click inside the round frame. Selections-Modify,
Expand 5. Back to your tube - Eraser Tool, erase any of the tube you need to. Selections-None.

Copy & paste one of the Bow elements from scrap kit as a new layer. I use element 25. Move down to
bottom of the round frame.

Now we will add drop shadows with these settings to round frame, flowers & your tube

Add your name & correct copyright. Make bottom layer active (white), Cross out the eyes. Merge Visable
all other layers. Uncross the eyes on bottom layer. Crop Tool, crop excess white background, being careful
not to crop any of your merged image. Once you have done that, click COPY & paste as a New Image on
your workspace. Resize if you like. I resized mine 75% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED.
Save as a *Png
