Be My Valentine Forum Set Tutorial

I created this tut in PSPX1 (11) but it can be done
with any version of PSP. This is an easy tutorial
with not much to do, just take your time.
You will need:
A tube - I used one of ©Verymany's lovely tubes.

You need to be a registered member of PicsForDesign
to purchase her tubes, but any tube will do.
A nice texture - mine is from VixPSP

Font I used is called 'Lovers Quarrel ROB'
Plugin Filters:
AAA Frames
Xero Porcelain
AAA Frames
Xero Porcelain
Open up your tubes & texture.
Duplicate the Texture - resize using these settings
Duplicate the Texture - resize using these settings
Effects-Plugins-AAA Frames with these settings
Copy & paste your tube as a new layer, moving it to the side. You may have to
resize to get the tube to fit (see mine for example). Duplicate the tube & on bottom
tube layer - Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 10. Make top tube layer active - Adjust-Sharpen.

Paste your tube once more - resize down a little & move across to the other side.
Do the same as first tube with blur & Xero settings. Merge Down - Blend Mode-
Soft Light. Reduce the Opacity to 75% in the properties.
Preset Shapes Tool-Rectangle - Background colour a dark colour from your tube.
Foreground nil. Draw out a thin rectangle - Objects-Align-Centre in Canvas - convert to Raster Layer.
Duplicate - move down slighly - duplicate once more, move up top slightly
Merge Down 2 times so the 3 lines are one layer
Do the same as first tube with blur & Xero settings. Merge Down - Blend Mode-
Soft Light. Reduce the Opacity to 75% in the properties.

Foreground nil. Draw out a thin rectangle - Objects-Align-Centre in Canvas - convert to Raster Layer.

Dupicate - Image-Free Rotate-Rotate right 90
Merge Down. Move the merged lines down above your background layer (AAAFrames layer)
Duplicate - on bottom merged lines layer - Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 5. Make top merged lines active,
Effects-Edge Effects Enhance More.
Image-Add Borders with these settings
Merge Down. Move the merged lines down above your background layer (AAAFrames layer)
Duplicate - on bottom merged lines layer - Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 5. Make top merged lines active,
Effects-Edge Effects Enhance More.
Image-Add Borders with these settings
Magic Wand, click on the new border - Adjust-Add Nois-Uniform-65-Monochrome ticked
Add your name & correct copyright. Merge Visible. Save as a *Png image
AVATAR
Just before you add the Border, Selection Tool, draw around your main tube
Add Your Initial & correct copyright. Add border as before - Noise Effect as before.
Merge Visible - resize with these settings
