Essence Tutorial

At the time I created this tutorial, all tubes, scrapkits, etc were
in working links. Sorry if the links no longer work
With scrapkits, if the link or site is missing, choose a similar scrapkit
I created this tut in PSPX1 (11) but it can be done
with any version of PSP. You need to have a good understanding of
your PSP program to do this tutorial
You will need:
A close up tube - I used a tube from Veryman
You need to be a registered member of PicsForDesign

Font I used is called 'Eutemia' from Dafont.com
Plugin Filters - Optional
Xero-Porcelain

Open up & minimise Mask #84
Copy & paste a paper from the scrapkit as a new layer.

Copy & paste a paper from the scrapkit as a new layer.

Merge Group. I then went the Blend Mode & used Disolved on the mask layer to give
it a little bit of character - that is your choice.
Copy & paste Frame2 from scrapkit as a new layer - resize 80% SmartSize-all layers
unchecked.
Image-Free Rotate-Rotate 90 left. Magic Wand, click inside the frame - Selections-Modify-
Expand 5 - copy & paste another paper from scrapkit as a new layer - Selections-Invert,
hit delete. Move the paper layer below the frame. Keep Selected. Make top layer active, copy
& paste your close up tube as a new layer - you may need to resize the tube a little. Eraser Tool,
erase any of the tube protruding below the frame. Selections-None. Give the tube & the frame this drop shadow
it a little bit of character - that is your choice.
Copy & paste Frame2 from scrapkit as a new layer - resize 80% SmartSize-all layers
unchecked.
Image-Free Rotate-Rotate 90 left. Magic Wand, click inside the frame - Selections-Modify-
Expand 5 - copy & paste another paper from scrapkit as a new layer - Selections-Invert,
hit delete. Move the paper layer below the frame. Keep Selected. Make top layer active, copy
& paste your close up tube as a new layer - you may need to resize the tube a little. Eraser Tool,

I used Plugin Filter Xero-Porcelain effect on the tube - that is optional.
Copy & paste one of the Flowers from scrapkit (I used Flower4) - resize about 50% SmartSize-all layers unchecked.
Move to bottom corner of the frame - duplicate-Image-Mirror, move across to the original flower.
Copy & paste Bow6 from scrapkit as a new layer - resize same as flower - move across over the flowers.
Copy & paste either Bow1 or Bow2 from scrapkit as a new layer - resize - move across to flowers.
Copy & paste Flowers01 from scrapkit as a new layer - resize Image-Mirror, move across to top side of frame &
move down under your tube layer.
Add your name & correct copyright. When you have done this, cross out the eyes on bottom layer (white), Merge Visible
all other layers. Click COPY & paste as a new image on your workspace. Resize to your liking - I didn't resize mine.
Save as a *Png Image
