Independent Woman Tutorial

Click on image to see larger version

At the time I created this tutorial, all tubes, scrapkits, etc were
in working links. Sorry if the links no longer work
With scrapkits, if the link or site is missing, choose a similar scrapkit

I created this tut in PSPX1 (11) but it can be done
with any version of PSP. You need to have a good understanding of
your PSP program to do this tutorial.
*You can colourise the elements & papers from scrapkit to suit your tube*

You will need:
A close-up tube - I used one of Verymany's lovely tubes
You need to be a registered member of PFD
to purchase her tubes, but any close-up tube will do.
Scrapkit called 'Independent Woman' from GothicInspirations
Mask #4 from EnchantedByDarkness
(you will see the mask download links on the righthand side)
Font I used is called "InternationalPalms" from Fonts101
Plugin Filter:
Eyecandy4000-GradientGlow for your name & copyright

New white canvas 750x750

Open up the mask #4 & minimise it. Copy & paste a paper from the scrapkit as a
new layer. I used paper #2. (recolour if needed)
New Mask Layer-From Image with these settings

Merge Group - resize mask layer 87%SmartSize-all layers unchecked.

Copy & paste WAMask from scrapkit as a new layer - New Mask Layer-From Image with the
same settings as before. Merge Group - but don't resize.

Copy & paste Frame #3 from scrapkit as a new layer (recolour if needed) - resize 80%SmartSize-all layers unchecked.

Copy & paste another paper from scrapkit as a new layer. (I used paper #7 this time). Selections-
Invert, hit delete on your keyboard. Move this paper layer below the frame layer. Copy & paste the WAMask
from scrapkit, hit delete on your keyboard. Selections-None. Move the WAMask layer below the frame layer
Make the frame layer active.

Magic Wand, click inside the frame - copy & paste your tube as a new layer, positioning the tube
where it will look good. Selections-Invert - Eraser Tool, erase any of the tube below the frame.
When you have done that - Selections-None. Give your tube this drop shadow

Copy & paste Wing element from scrapkit as a new layer - resize 90%SmartSize-all layers unchecked.
Position the Wing over to the top left of the frame

When you have done that - Duplicate-Image-Mirror. Merge Down. Move the Wings
layer below your tube layer. Make your tube layer active.
Copy & paste Bow2 from scrapkit as a new layer - resize 70%SmartSize-all layers unchecked. Adjust-Sharpen.
Position the Bow to bottom right of your tube. (Recolour if needed) Add drop shadow

Copy & paste Leaves1 element from scrapkit as a new layer - resize 80%SmartSize-all layers unchecked.
Position over the Bow. (Colourise) Effects-Edge Effects-Enhance.
Copy & paste Key2 element from scrapkit as a new layer - Image-Mirror. Resize 65%SmartSize-all layers unchecked.
Effects-Edge Effects-Enhance - position over the Bow. Add drop shadow.

Add your name & correct copyright. Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) Merge Visible all other layers. Click COPY
& paste as a New Image on your workspace. Resize to your liking. I resized mine 80%SmartSize-all layers CHECKED.
