Anchors A Weigh Tutorial

At the time I created this tutorial, all tubes, scrapkits, etc were
in working links. Sorry if the links no longer work
With scrapkits, if the link or site is missing, choose a similar scrapkit
I created this tut in PSPX1 (11) but it can be done
with any version of PSP. You need to have a good understanding of
your PSP program to do this tutorial.
You will need:
A tube - I used one of Arthur Crowe's male tubes
You need to be a registered member of Arthur Crowes store

Mask #38 from WeeScotsLass Creations
Font I used is called "CalliGravity" from SimpleTheBest Fonts
Plugin Filter:
Eyecandy4000-GradientGlow for your name & copyright
Open up the mask #38 & minimise it. Also open up the tube you will be
using & set it aside.
New white canvas 700x700

New raster layer - Selections-Select all - copy & paste into selection a paper from scrapkit
Selections-None - New Mask Layer-From Image with these settings
Selections-None - New Mask Layer-From Image with these settings
Merge Group - resize 90%SmartSize-all layers unchecked.
Copy & paste frame #7 from scrapkit as a new layer
Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - resize if too large.
Move the tube over to one side of the frame (see mine for example).
Make the frame layer active - Magic Wand, click inside the frame - Selections-Invert,
now make your tube layer active, Eraser Tool, erase parts of the tube outside the
bottom of the frame like this
Copy & paste frame #7 from scrapkit as a new layer
Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - resize if too large.
Move the tube over to one side of the frame (see mine for example).
Make the frame layer active - Magic Wand, click inside the frame - Selections-Invert,
now make your tube layer active, Eraser Tool, erase parts of the tube outside the
bottom of the frame like this
Selections-None. Give your tube & frame this drop shadow
Copy & paste Clipart#22(lighthouse) as a new layer. Move the lighthouse down under the frame layer & over
to the side - add drop shadow
Make top layer active - Copy & paste either Clipart#1 or #2 (sail boats) as a new layer - resize 70%SmartSize-
all layers unchecked. Add drop shadow & move to the side of the frame.
Copy & paste Clipart#84(anchor) - resize 50%SmartSize-all layers unchecked. Image-Mirror, place to the side
of the frame. Add drop shadow.
Copy & paste clipart#74(sand) as a new layer - resize 65%SmartSize-all layers unchecked. Move down under
anchor layer.
Make top layer active - copy & paste clipart#41 (compass) as a new layer - resize 50%SmartSize-all layers unchecked.
Move to in front of the anchor - add drop shadow.
Copy & paste clipart#81(binoclulars) as a new layer - resize 60%SmartSize-all layers unchecked. Add drop shadow.
Place where you like
Copy & paste clipart #21 (captains Cap) as a new layer - resize 40%SmartSize-all layers unchecked. Add drop shadow.
Place where you like
Copy & paste clipart #18 (sea gull) as a new layer - resize 30%SmartSize-all layers unchecked - Image-Mirror, add
drop shadow. Place where you like
Open up the Wordart section - Ropes Shadow 1 - with your Freehand Tool, draw around one of the wordarts, click COPY
& paste as a new layer. Add drop shadow. Place where you like
Add your name & correct copyright & when you have done that, cross out the eyes on the bottom layer (white), Merge
Visible all other layers. Click COPY & paste as a New Image on your workspace,.
Resize to your liking - I resized mine 90%SmartSize-all layers CHECKED. Save as a *Png image
