Steampunked Tutorial

Click on image to see larger version

At the time I created this tutorial, all tubes, scrapkits, etc were
in working links. Sorry if the links no longer work
With scrapkits, if the link or site is missing, choose a similar scrapkit

I created this tut in PSPX1 (11) but it can be done
with any version of PSP. You need to have a good understanding of
your PSP program to do this tutorial.

You will need:
A man tube & a standing tube - I used tubes of ©TheHunter's cute guys
You need to be a registered member of ApocalipsStudioHunter
to purchased his tubes, but any male tube will do.
Scrapkit called 'Steampunked' from DesignsByVabs
Mask #2 from Melissaz Creations
Font I used is called "Caribbean" from fonts2u
Plugin Filter:
Eyecandy4000-GradientGlow for your name & copyright

Open up the mask #2 & minimise it. Also open up the tubes you will be
using & set it aside.
New white canvas 700x700

Copy & paste a paper from scrapkit as a new layer - I used paper #8
New mask layer-from image with these settings

Merge Group.
Copy & paste Frame #2 from scrapkit as a new layer - resize 70%SmartSize-all layers unchecked.
Move frame up & to the right a little.
Duplicate & resize duplicated frame 87%SmartSize-all layers unchecked. Move duplicated frame down
& to the right a little.

Magic Wand, click inside smaller frame - Selections-Modify-Expand 8. Copy & paste another paper from
scrapkit as a new layer - I used paper #7 this time. Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Move
the paper layer below the small frame layer.
Do the same with the larger frame, remembering to move the paper layer below the larger frame.

Make top layer active - copy & paste element #33 from scrapkit as a new layer - resize 70%SmartSize-all layers
unchecked. Then go to Image-Free Rotate-Rotate 35 right. Adjust-Sharpen.
Copy & paste element #26 from scrapkit as a new layer - resize 70%SmartSize-all layers unchecked.
Move this element down to top of large frame.

Make top layer active - copy & paste element #27 from scrapkit as a new layer - resize 60%SmartSize-all layers
unchecked - move down to bottom of small frame - Image-Mirror - Adjust-Sharpen
Your image should look similar to this

Make large frame layer active - give this drop shadow

Give all the element layers the same drop shadow.

Make large frame layer active once more - magic wand, click inside the frame.
Copy & paste your male tube as a new layer - resize if needed. Position the tube where he will look good,
Selections-Invert - Eraser Tool, erase parts of the tube below the frame. When done, Selections-None.
Give the tube the drop shadow.

Make smaller frame layer active - copy & paste your male tube again - resize if needed to make it larger.
Postion the tube within the frame - Selections-Invert, hit delete.
Make very top layer active - copy & paste your male standing tube as a new layer - position him where
he will look good - add drop shadow..

Add your name & correct copyright.
Crossout eyes on bottom layer (white) Merge all other layers Visible. Click COPY & paste as a New Image
on your workspace. Resize as needed. I resized mine 87%SmartSize-all layersCHECKED.
Save as a *Png image
