Mellow Moment Tutorial

You will need:

A tube
Font
Scrap Kit "Cremissimo" from
FantasyMomentsScraps HERE
VM Extravaganza Plugin Filter- Transmission


New white canvas 600x600



Copy & paste FM-C-Element-48 as a new layer
Resize 60% Bicubic-all layers unchecked

Magic Wand - click inside the frame, also the small section under bow
Selections-Modify-Expand 6.
Copy & paste FM-C-Papers-22 as a new layer - Selections-Invert - hit delete.
Select None - move the paper layer below the frame.

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - back on the Frame layer - Selections-Select All-
Float-Defloat - make your Tube layer active - Eraser Tool, erase parts of the tube that
overlap the ribbon in the frame. Select None.You may have to erase any of the tube that may be
below the framer at this stage.



Give your Tube & Frame this Drop Shadow



Make your bottom layer active (white layer) - Selections-Selecat All - New Raster Layer.
Copy FM-C-Papers-4 & Paste Into Selection - Select None.
At this stage we are going to use one of the elements from the scrap kit as a Mask.
Copy FM-C-Element-6 & Paste As A New Image somewhere on your work area - minimise.

One the paper layer you just pasted into selection - New Mask Layer-From Image-Add Mask
From Image with these settings



Merge-Merge Group - resize 80% Bicubic same setting as before. Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 35

VM Extravaganza Plugin Filter-Transmission with these settings



Resize once more 95% Bicubic-All Layers unchecked.

Make top layer active - copy & paste FM-C-Element-23 as a new layer. Resize 65% Bicubic-all
layers unchecked.Move this layer over to bottom right corner of frame (see mine as example)

Drop Shadow with same settings as before.

Cross out eyes on bottom layer - merge visible all other layers.
Add your name & correct copyright - Merge Down. Copy-Paste As A New Image
Resize if needed. Save as a *Png
