Spring Time Tutorial

You will need:

Tube - I used one from Joel Adams
You need to be a registered member of CILM
to buy the tubes
'Spring Time' scrapkit from FantasyMoments Scraps
My supplies
Font - I used SecretRecipe - in my supplies

Open up my Frame, Mask & font. Minimise the font & mask for now.
New white canvas 700x700

We will resize at end

Copy & paste my Frame as a new layer. Resize 80% Bicubic-all layers unchecked
Selections-Select All-Float-Defloat.
Open up a Paper from Scrapkit & paste as a new layer - Selections-Invert, hit delete.
Select None - delete my original Frame.

Effects-Inner Bevel with these settings

Copy & paste one of the Flowers from scrapkit - resize 50% Bicubic-all layers unchecked
Move it to one of the squares in my Frame - Duplicate-Mirror & move down to opposite square

Copy & paste another Flower from scrapkit - do the same as Flower above but opposite squares.
Move Flowers under the Frame layer.

Cross out eyes on your background layer & Frame layer - Merge Visible the Flowers. Adjust-Sharpen
Give the flowers this drop shadow

Make the Frame layer active - Freehand Selection Tool - draw around the Frame

Pick 2 colours from your tube or Frame - New Raster layer - Gradient with these settings

Selections-Select None. Move this layer below Flowers layer

Make yor Frame layer active - give same drop shadow as before

Copy & paste one of the Ribbon elements from scrapkit - give same drop shadow
Copyt & paste Element-8 from scrapkit - give drop shadow

Copy & paste Heart-1 from scrapkit - resize 70% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Move over to the top side of Frame

Copy & paste Flower-7 as a new layer - resize 70% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Drop shadow.
Move over the Heart.

Copy & paste your tube as anew layer - drop shadow. Cross out eyes on your background layer,
Merge Visible all other layers. Resize 90% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.

Make background layer active - copy & paste a Paper from Scrapkit - New Mask Layer-From Image
with these settings

Merge Group - duplicate. Add your name & correct copyright.
Crop Tool -  crop excess white background. Resize if needed.
Then you need to resize once more the Resolution with these settings

You can now save your new tag - as a *Png or you can Animate it with
the Butterflies I have in my supplies
