Teacup Cutie Tutorial
You will need:
My supplies HERE
A tube (preferably a fairy)
I am using one from ©OutLawByDesign - a PFU tube
Font - I used Frech Scrip MT - came with my PSPX1
Plugin Filters:
FM Tile Tools-Blend Emboss
Xero Plugin Filter
Penta.com Filter
Open up my Teacup from my supplies - add a new raster layer, flood
fill new layer with white. Go to Image-Canvas Size with these settings.
Now make Teacup layer active - Image-Resize 145% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
You can re-colour the Teacup at this stage using a colour from your tube.
Plugin Filter-FM Tile Tool-Blend Emboss - default setting.
Xero Plugin Filter-Porcelain with default settings
Give Teacup this Drop Shadow
We will be using the same drop shadow through from now.
Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - resize if needed. Eraser Tool, carefully erase
a section of the tube sticking out from cup. Looks as though fairy is sitting in the cup
Give tube the same Blend Emboss & Xero-Porcelain as before. Drop Shadow
Copy & paste Swirls from my supplies. Place left side of tube - duplicate-mirror-Merge Down.
Move Swirls under tube layer. Give the Swirls the same Blend Emboss & Porcelain as before. Drop Shadow
Copy & paste butterfly from my supplies - re-colour it to suit your tube - resize 55% Bicubic-all layers unchecked
Adjust-Sharpen-Sharpen
Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) - Merge Visible all other layers. Resize 80% Bicubic-all layers unchecked
Duplicate - on original layer - Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 35% - Penta.com-Dot & Cross, default settings.
Merge Down
Add your name & correct copyright.Merge Down
Crop Tool - crop around your tag to remove excess white background.
You may have to resize - I resied mine 84% Bicubic-all layers checked
Save as a *Png
