Purity Tutorial

You will need:

A tube - I used one of Caron Vinson's fairy tubes.
You need to be a registered member of CILM to purchase
tubes, but you can use any tube you like.
Scrap kit from FantasyMoments called "Purity"

Penta.com PLugin Filter - Dot and Cross
MuRa's Meister Plugin Filter - Copies


A new white canvas 700x700



Copy & paste one of the Flower Elements from the scrap kit
5 - 8 (one that will match your tube) as a new layer.
MuRa's Filter - copies with these settings



Preset Shape Tool - Eclipse with these settings



Hold down your Shift key while drawing out a circle large enough to
cover the centre of each flower. Chose a nice colour from your tube as the
Foreground colour - Background - NUll



When you have done that go to Objects-Align-Centre In Canvas.
Magic Wand - click inside of your circle, make Circled Flower layer active, hit Delete.
Selections-None. Duplicate the circled flowers & on the original layer - Image-Resize 110
Bicubic-all layers unchecked.

Make your circle layer active - Selections-Modify-Expand-4.
Select a nice Paper from Scrap kit - copy & paste as a new layer - Selections-Invert,
hit delete.Selections-None

Now we will give a drop shadow to each of those layers. Use this drop shadow



Make top layer active - copy & paste one of the Dangle Elements 40 or 41 as a new layer.
Resize 30% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Place the Dangle to one side of the Circle. Give drop shadow
Copy & paste one of the Bow Elements as a new layer - resize 40% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.

Copy & paste one of the Butterfly characters as a new layer - Resize 40% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Give drop shadow.

Copy & paste you tube as a new layer - resize if needed. If any of the tube is produding below the Circle,
use your Eraser Tool & erase. Give drop shadow.

Cross out eyes on the bottom layer (white) - Merge Visible all other layers. Uncross the eyes
now on bottom layer.
Have your image layer active - resize 85% Bicubic-all layers unchecked - Duplicate. On your original image
layer - Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 25. Penta.com Filter-Dot and Cross with these settings



Apply that Filter once more. Make top layer active - Merge Down. Add your name & correct copyright
Crop Tool - crop to remove excess white background. I then resized mine 84% Bicubic
all layers CHECKED. Save as a *Png
