Antique Beauty Tutorial





You will need:

A Fairy tube
Scrap Kit-Antique Beauty- from SimplySensationalScraps HERE
A font of choice

New white canvas 700x600



Copy & paste one of the lace frames from the Srap Kit.
Resize it 85% Bicubic - all layers un-checked.
Magic Wand - click inside the frame - Selections-Modify-Expand 5
Copy & paste one of the papers from the Scrap Kit as a new layer.
Selections-Invert - click delete. Move the paper layer below the frame.

Keep the marching ants going - copy & paste the tube - you may have to increase the size
a little bit - move the tube to one side inside the heart frame, click delete.
Select None.

Magic Wand - click inside the frame once more - Selections-Modify-Expand 5. Now make
the paper layer active - go to Effects-Texture Effects-Blinds with these settings



Select None- Drop Shadow with these settings



Make the tube layer active - reduce the Opacity to 50%

Copy & paste the tube once again - mirror & move it to the other side of the frame (see mine for example)
Give the tube the same Drop Shadow as before.

Copy one of the Flower Swirls from Scrap Kit & paste it as a new layer below the top tube layer.
Resize 85% - all layers un-checked - duplicate-mirror - Merge Down

Copy one of the brooches from the Scrap Kit & paste as a new layer - resize 55% all layers un-checked.
Sharpen - duplicate- resize 85% move up a little bit-sharpen - duplicate, move up a little, so you
have 3 brooches up the side of the frame.

Add your name & correct copyright. Cross out eyes on bottom layer - Merge Visable all other layers. Copy
& paste as a new Image. Resize if needed. Save as a *Png

Blasted Grid Tutorial

Sorry if the links no longer work With scrapkits, if the link or site is missing, choose a similar scrapkit I created this tut in PSPX4 (14) but it can be done with any version of PSP.
