Silver Shadow Tutoial






You will need:

Tube - I used one of Elias Chatzoudis lovely ladies.
You must be a registered member of MPT to purchase his
tubes, but any tube will do.
Scrap kit called 'Silver Shadow' from SimplySensationalScraps

The font I used is called Spirit Medium in my supplies

Mask 84 from WeeScotLass
HERE


Open up the mask & font. Minimise for now.

New white canvas 750x700



Copy & paste one of the Frames (5 or 6) from scrap kit as a new layer.
Freehand Selection Tool, draw around the window frame like this



Copy & paste one of the Papers from scrap kit as a new layer. Selections-
Invert, hit delete. Move the paper layer below frame layer. Keep Selected,
copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position the tube within the window frame.
Hit delete ( the selections should still be in the Invert). Seelections-None.
While still on your tube layer - Blend Mode-Luminance (Legacy).
Cross out the eyes on bottom layer (white) Merge Visible all other layers. Open the
eyes up. Move the Merged image up & to the right a little bit.

Copy & paste your tube as anew layer - position the tube where it will look nice.
Give your tube this drop shadow



Copy & paste one of the Journel elements from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 80%
Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Move to the side of the frame. Copy & paste one of the
Ribbon Bows as a new layer from scrap kit. Image-Flip, place over the Journel Element.
Duplicate-Merge Down. Give drop shadow as before.

Make tube layer active - Merge Down.Resize 85% Bicubic-all layers unchecked
Select All - new raster layer-copy & paste a paper from scrap kit & paste into selection.
Selections-None. New Mask Layer-From Image with these settings




Merge Group. Add your name & correct copyright. Crop Tool - crop excess white background.
Resize once more 80% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Cross out eyes on bottom layer, Merge
Visible all other layers. Copy your merged image & paste as a New Image on yoyr workspace.
Your merged image should now have a transparent background. Save as *Png
