Simple Beauty Tutorial





You will need:

Tube - I used one of Dirk Richter tubes.
You need to be a registered member of MPT
to purchase the tubes - but any nic tube will do.
Scrap kit called 'Simple Beauty' from ScrapsDimensions
HERE
A nice scripty font
Plugin Filter:
VM-Extravaganza-Transmission

New white canvas 700x700



We will resize at the end.

Copy & paste Frame 2 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 70%
Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Magic Wand, click inside of the round frame - Selections-Modify-Expand 4
Copy & paste one of the papers from scrap kit as a new layer - Selections-Invert,
hit delete. Move the paper layuer below frame layer. Keep selected. Copy & paste
your tube as a new layer - if the tube is small you may have to enlarge it to fit
inside the selected frame. Once you have you tube where you want, hit delete.
Move your tube image below the frame layer. Lower the Opacity of the tube to 65.
Give tube image this drop shadow



Have your top layer active.Copy & paste one of the Elements from scrap kit (I used one of the butterflies),
I resized mine 25% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Adjust-Sharpen. Give drop shadow.

Copy & paste FRame 5 as a new layer - resize 50% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Adjust-Sharpen. Move Frame 5 over
to the side of the round frame. Magic Wand, click inside both squares of frame - Selections-Modify-Expand 3
copy & paste one of the papers from scrap kit as a new layer - Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None.
Move the paper layer belwo frame 5 layer. Back on frame 5 layer, Magic Wand, click inside top box - Selections,
Modify-Expand 3 - copy & paste your tube as a new layer - move tube over the box till you have a section of it
you like - Selections-Invert, hit delete. Do the same with the bottom box of frame 5 with another section of
your tube. Move both sections of the tube below frame 5 layer. Make frame 5 layer active - give drop shadow.

Copy & paste Ribbon 3 as a new layer-resize 70% Bicubic-all layers inchecked - Image-Free Rotate-Rotate 90 right.
Adjust-Sharpen. Move Bibbon layer below the paper layer of frame 5. Make top layer active - copy & paste one of
the bows from scrap kit as a new layer - resize 40% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Move it over to frame 5.
Give drop shadow.
Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - move to the side where it will look nice. Give drop shadow.
Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) - Merge Visible all other layers. Resize 85% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Duplicate & on original merge image layer - Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 25. Effects-Plugin Filters- VM Extravaganza,
Transmission - default settings.Resize Blurred layer 95% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Uncross eyes on bottom layer. Make top layer active - Merge Down. Crop Tool - crop excess white background.
Copy merged image & paste as a New Image on your workspace. Your image should have a transparent background.
I resized mine 85% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED. Add your name & correct copyright. Copy & paste wone of the wordarts
from scrap kit as a new layer - resize 35% Bicubic-all layers unchecked - Merge Down. Save as a *Png
