My Special Friend Tutorial





You will need:

Tube - I used one of Bessie Ho's lil cuties.

Scrap kit called 'Tropica' from FantasyMoments Scraps
HERE
Font I used is called ' Planet Dust' in my supplies

PLugin Filters:
Penta.com - Colour Dot
MuRa's Filter Meister - Copies


New white canvas 700x700



Copy & paste element 33 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 55% Bicubic-
all layers unchecked. MuRa's Filter Meister-Copies with these settings



Resize 110% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Magic Wand, click inside circled flowers,
Selections-Modify-Expand 30. Copy & paste a paper from scrap kit as a new layer.
Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Move paper layer below circled flowers.

Copy & paste element 41 from scrap kit as a new layer.
Resize 68% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Move down slightly so it sits
on the circled flowers.

Copy & paste element 3 from scrap kit as a new layer. Now this ribbon is rather large so
we have to resize it 15% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Adjust-Sharpen. Give this drop shadow



Copy & paste element 75 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 65-70% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Move to the left of the circled flowers - duplicate - Image-Mirror. Adjust-Sharpen.

Copy & paste element 68 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 55% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Adjust-Sharpen. Move to where it will look nice. Copy & paste element 65 from scrap kit as a new
layer - Resize the same as the butterfly & place where it will look nice.

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer, placing it where you like. Give drop shadow as before.
Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) Merge Visible all other layers. Resize your merged layer,
85% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Open the eyes up on bottom layer. Make merged image active, duplicate
& on original merged image layer go to Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 25. Plugin Filter-Penta.com - Colour Dot
with default settings. Repeat the plugin filter once more. Make top layer active - Merge Down.
Add your name & correct copyright - Merge Down.
Crop Tool - crop excess white background. Resize 82% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED. Click on top blue bar,
COPY & paste as a New Image on your workspace. Your image should now have a transparent background.
Save as a *Png
