Little Treasures Tutorial




**As with a lot of my tutorials, I use free scrap kits from a lot of different scrap kit makers.
I do include the link to the site/page those scrap kits can be obtained from, but sometimes
those scrap kits become no longer available or the site closes. When this happens, I do endeavor
to add a new link, but if I don't, please use another scrap kit of your choice that is almost
the same as the one that I used in my tutorials. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.**


You will need:

Tube - I am using one of Sue MIllers lovely tubes
You need to be a registered member of MyTagArt

but any tube will do.

Scrap kit called 'Thankful' from DesignsBy Vabs
HERE
Font I used is called 'Spirit Medium'

Open up my LittleTreasures Template, click Shift D to copy it. Delete original template.
Make bottom layer active (white) - go to IMAGE-CANVAS SIZE with these settings



Delete the very top layer - my TOU.
Make the white background layer active - copy & paste from scrap kit Element 30 as a new layer
Give this drop shadow



Make Raster 1 layer active - Magic Wand, click the black circle. Copy & paste a paper from the scrap kit
as a new layer - Selections-Invert. hit delete. Selections-None. Delete original layer.

Make Copy of Raster layer 1 active - Magic Wand, click the gray circle - copy & paste another paper from
scrap kit as a new layer - Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Delete original layer.

Make Raster Layer 2 active - Selections-Select All-Float-Defloat - new raster layer, flood fill the stitched
line with a colour from your tube. Selections-None. Delete original layer.

Make Raster 3 layer active - Magic Wand, click small black circle. Copy & paste a paper from scrap kit as
a new layer - Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Delete original layer.Give drop shadow.

Make Raster 4 layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat - new raster layer - flood fill Stitched Line with colour.
Selections-None. Delete original layer.

Make Raster 5 layer active - Magic Wand, click grey Triangle - Copy & paste a paper from scrap kit as a new layer.
Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Delete original layer. Give drop shadow.

Make Raster 6 layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat - flood fill stitched line with colour. Delete original layer.

Make Copy of Raster 5 layer active - Magic Wand, click the white Triangle - Copy & paste a paper from scrap kit
as a new layer - Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Give drop shadow. Delete original layer.

Make Copy of Raster 6 layer active - New Raster layer, Select All-Float-Defloat, flood fill Stitched line with colour.
Delete original layer.

Make Raster 7 layer active - Magic Wand, click grey Triangle - copy & paste a paper from scrap kit as a new layer.
Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Delete original layer. Give drop shadow.

Make Raster 9 layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat - new Raster layer, flood fill stitched line with colour.
Selections-None. Delete original layer.

Copy & past your tube as a new layer - place where it will look nice. Give drop shadow.
Copy & paste any other of the Elements from scrap kit as you like.
Add your name & correct copyright. Crop Tool - crop excess white background. cross out eyes on bottom layer (white)
MERGE VISIBLE all other layers. Have your merged image active - click COPY on top blue bar & PASTE as a New Image
on your workspace. Save as a *Png.
