Lacy's Christmas Tutorial



You will need:

A tube - I used one of Lacy Claggs tubes.
You must be a registered member of MyTagArt  HERE
but any Christmas tube will do.
Scrap kit called 'Christmas Holly' from BlueDreams Designs
HERE
Font I used is called 'LD Christmas Bulbs'
HERE
Animated snow
HERE


New white canvas 800x800



Copy & paste Frame 2 from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 75% Bicubic-all layers unchecked
Colourize the frame to suit your tube. Adjust-Sharpen

Magic Wand - click inside frame - Selections-Modify-Expand 6.
Copy & paste Paper 8 from scrap kit as a new layer - move so the Santa is on the the
left of the frame



Selections-Invert. hit delete. Selections-None. Move paper layer below frame layer.
Give frame this drop shadow



Copy & paste one of the Bauble Sprigs from scrap kit as a new layer. Move to top of frame
Copy & paste Elves Shoes from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 75% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Move across to left side of frame & move Elves Shoes layer under Bauble layer. Give the shoes same
drop shadow as before.

Copy & paste on of the Candle Deco from scrap kit as a new layer.Resize 75% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Position the Candle Deco on the bottom of the frame - Adjust-Sharpen.

Copy & paste 2 of the Gifts from scrap kit as new layers each, resizing each one 55% Bicubic-all layers
unched - Adjust-Sharpen. You can rotate one as I've done - Image-Free Rotation-Rotate right 25. Give each
Gift the drop shadow as before - Adjust-Sharpen.

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position the tube where it will look nice. Give drop shadow.
Add your name & correct copyright.
You can save your tag from here. Crop Tool - crop excess white background. Cross out eyes on bottom layer
(white) MERGE VISIBLE all other layers. Resize to your liking & save as a *Png - or you can go onto animating
your image.


ANIMATION

Crop Tool - crop excess white background - resize about 87% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED.
Cross out the eyes on bottom & paper layers - MERGE VISIBLE all other layers. Uncross the eyes on the 2 bottom layers,
crossing out the eyes on your merged layer. Make the Paper layer active - COPY MERGED - go to Animation Shop &
Paste as a New Animation.

Open up the Animated Snow in your Animation Shop - there will be 10 frames. Go to EDIT-SELECT ALL.
Now with your newly pasted animated image from PSP right click on top blue bar COPY - hold down your Ctrl & L keys
together & clcik 9 times to give you 10 frames. Go to EDIT-SELECT ALL.
Copy the Animated Snow frames - go to your merge image frames & PASTE INTO SELECTED FRAMES.

Back to your PSP - open up the eyes on your merged image - crossing out the eyes on the bottom & paper layers.
Copy Merge - back to AS - Paste as a New Animation. Click Ctrl & L keys once more till you have 10 frames - EDIT-
SELECT ALL. Copy back to your merged image with animated snow & Paste into selected frames carefully pasting the merged
image over the animated snow



Save as a *Gif

Blasted Grid Tutorial
