Dreamland Tutorial

With this tutorial we will be using a tube, a scrap kit,
Drop shadow used thoughout this tutorial will be:
V-1 H-3 Opacity-50 Blur-16 Colour Dark Grey
You can re-colour the papers & elements to suit your tube.

You will need:
A tube - I used one of Holly Durrs
lovely tubes. You need to be a registered member
of MyTagArt HERE
to purchase her tubes, but any tube will do.
Scrap kit called 'Pink Hope' from Bel Vidotti Scraps

Template called 'Crazy Beautiful' from Tina's Magical Scrap World

My wordart 'GoodNiteSweetDreams'

Font ' Galathea'

'Clouds' from Rainbow Coffi at PSP Playground

Plugin Filters:
DSB Flux-Bright Noise
EyeCandy 4000-GradientGlow


Open up the template - click Shift D to copy the template. You can now delete
the original template.
Delete to TOU & Words (2 top layers). Make bottom layer (white) active, go to Image-
Canvas Size with these settings



Make BigHalfCircleGlitter layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat. Copy a paper from the scrap kit
& paste as a new layer - Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Give drop shadow.

Delete the original layer

Make BigHalfCircles layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat-copy & paste another paper from scrap kit
as a new layer (or you can colourize this layer). Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None.

Effects-Plugins-DSB Flux-BrightNoise with these settings



Selections-None. Delete original layer.
Make SmallHalfCircleGlitter layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat, copy & paste 1st paper you used
from scrap kit as a new layer - Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None.
Add same drop shadow as before. Delete original layer.

Make SmallHalfCircles layer active - copy & paste 2nd paper you used from scrap kit (or colourize this
layer as before) - add the DSB Flux-BrightNoise filter to this layer. Selection-None. Delete original layer.

Make FrameGlitter layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat, copy & paste 1st paper from scrap kit you used as
a new layer - Selections-Invert, hit delete.

Make Frame layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat, copy & paste 2nd paper from scrap kit you used as a new layer,
(or colourize it the same as before)Selections-Invert, hit delete.DSB Flux Filer as before. Selections-None.
Delete original layer.

Make RectangleGlitter layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat - copy & paste 1st paper you used from scrap kit
as a new layer-Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Delete original layer.

Make BlackRectangle layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat, copy & paste a new paper from scrap kit as a
new layer - Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Delete original layer.

Make DiamondLine layer active-Select All-Float-Defloat-new Raster layer, colourize. Selections-None. Delete
original layer. You can use your EyeCandy 4000-GradientGlow on this layer for a nice effect if you wish.

Make RectanglesFrameGlitter layer active-Select All-Float-Defloat, copy & paste 1st paper you used from scrap
kit as a new layer - Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Delete original layer.

Make RectanglesFrame layer active-Select All-Float-Defloat, copy & paste the 3rd paper you used from scrap kit
as a new layer-Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Delete original layer.

Make bottom layer active (white) copy & paste EL31 element from scrap kit as a new layer. You can give the
EyeCandy 4000-GradientGlow filter to this layer.

Make the very top layer active - copy & paste EL14 element from scrap kit as a new layer - resize 70% Bicubic-
all layers unchecked. Adjust-Sharpen. Colourize to match your tube. Give EyeCandy 4000-GradientGlow.
Move the flower across to the top left corner
Copy & paste EL39 element from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 70% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Move it down one layer
& move across so it is sitting under the flower. Give EyeCandy 4000-GradientGlow.

At this stage, using your Freehand Selection Tool, draw around one of the clouds from Rainbow Coffi, copy & paste the
cloud as a new layer on your image. You can place it anywhere it looks nice.

Copy & paste EL30 element from scrap kit as a new layer. Move it down to bottom of the rectangle on template, Duplicate,
Image-Flip-Mirror. Give both layers the EyeCandy 4000-GradientGlow filter effect.

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer, placing the tube where it will look nice. Give drop shadow as before.
Open up my WordArt, copy & paste as a new layer - you may colourize it if you wish.

Add your name & correct copyright.
Cross out the eyes on the bottom layer (white) Merge VISIBLE all other layers. Copy & paste as a New Image on your
workspace. Your image should now have a transparent background. I resized mine - 68% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED.
Save as a *PNG.
