Rainbow Fling Tutorial




You will need:

A sitting tube. I used one of Carlos Cartagena
You need to be a registered member of MPT

to purchase his tubes, but any tube will do
Srap kit called 'Rainbow Fling' from DesignsByVabs
HERE
Font I used is called 'Rubarb Pie'
HERE



New white canvas 800x800



Copy & paste element 51 from scrap kit as a new layer - Image-Flip
Copy & paste element 45 from scrap kit as a new laye - move across to the right a little,
duplicate - Image-Mirror-Flip.

Copy & paste element 11(frame) from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 80% Bicubic-all layers
unchecked.Adjust-Sharpen.
Magic Wand, click inside the frame - Selections-Modify-Expand 10. Copy & paste a paper from scrap
kit as a new layer. Selections-Invert, hit delete. Keep selected. Move the paper layer below
the frame layer.
Have the frame layer active. Copy & paste your tube as a new layer. You may have to resize the tube up
so the face fits inside the frame. Hit delete. Move the tube layer below the frame layer. Selections-
None.
Cross out the eyes on all layers except the frame,tube & paper layers - Merge visible those layers. Open
the eys up on the bottom layers. Move the Merge Image layer up & across to the left a little.
Give your merged image this drop shadow



Copy & paste element 22 from scrap kit as a new layer. Image-Free Rotate-Rotate left 90. Move across to the
right a little. Duplicate-Image-Mirror. Merge Down these 2 layers.

Copy & paste elements 23 & 24 from scrap kit as new layers - resizing each one 65% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Duplicate each one - Image-Mirror. Spread the flowers across the leave layer, like this



Give each flower the drop shadow as before. Cross out the eyes on the bottom layers except the leaf & flower layers,
Merge Visible thes layers. Open up eyes on all other layers. Move the merged flower image up to just under your
merged frame layer. Duplicate your merged flower layer. Image-Free Roatate-Rotate left 90. Move up & acroos to the
side of your merged frame layer. Resize 90% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.

Copy & paste your tube as a new layer. Having her sitting on the flowers. Give your tube the same drop shadow
as before.
You can add any of the other elements you like at this stage. When you have finished that, add your name &
correct copyright. Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) MERGE VISIBLE all other layers. Copy & paste as a New Image
on your work space. Resize 68% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED. Save as a *Png
