Simply Something Fae Tutorial
You will need:
A tube - I used one of Caron Vinson fairy tubes.
You need to be a registered member of CDO

Scrap kit called 'My Garden' from DesignsByAli

Mask #8 from MigginsDoesScrapsville

Font I used is called 'Blessings Through Raindrops'

New white canvas 700x700
Open up & minimise mask #8.
Copy & paste a paper from the scrap kit as a new layer.
New Mask Layer-From Image with these settings
Merge Group - Duplicate & Merge top layer Down.
Copy & paste one of the Clouds from scrap kit as a new layer. Move up slightly.
Copy & paste Wooden Wheel Frame from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 85% BICUBIC,
all layers unchecked.
Magic Wand, click inside the Wooden Wheel Frame - Selections-Modify-Expand 8.
Copy & paste your paper from scrap kit as a new layer - Selections-Invert, hit delete.
Move the paper layer below the wheel frame layer.. Make wheel frame layer active, give this
drop shadow
Copy & paste one of the Garden Fence from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 65% BICUBIC,
all layers unchecked. Duplicate - Image-Mirror. Place the fences like mine.Add drop shadow
Copy & paste one of the Butterfly Doodles from scrap kit as a new layer. I used Doodle #6.
Resize 80% BICUBIC-all layers unchecked. Move across to the right of the wheel frame.
Copy & paste another Butterfly Doodle from scrap kit as a new layer. This time I used doodle #11
Image-Mirror. Move across to the left of the wheel frame & move under the first Doodle layer.
Now, copy & paste yet another Butterfly Doodle & paste as a new layer. I used doodle #1
Resize 70% BICUBIC-all layers unchecked. Move this doodle layer down below the fence layers & up a bit.
Adjust-Sharpen.
Make top layer active. Copy & paste your tube as a new layer. Place your tube where it will look nice.
Add drop shadow.
Add your name & correct copyright. When you have done that, cross out the eyes on the bottom layer (white)
MERGE VISIBLE all other layers. Uncross the eyes on bottom layer - Crop Tool, crop excess white background,
being careful not to crop any of the mask layer. Resize about 83% BICUBIC-all layers CHECKED. Cross out the eyes
again on bottom white layer.
Make your merge layer active - COPY & paste as a NEW IMAGE on your work space. Your merged image should
now have a transparent back ground. Save as a *Png
