Something Mystical Tutorial

You will need:

A tube - I used one of Zindy Nielsens lovely tubes
You need to be a registered member of Zindy's site

to purchase her tubes, but any tube will do.
Scrap kit called 'Something Beautiful' from Tina's Magical Scrap World

You will find the mask download in her WSL_Masks 061-120



New white canvas 700x700



Open up Cloud photo from my supplies, set it aside.
On new canvas - Select All - new raster layer, copy the Cloud photo & paste
into selection. Selections-None. Open up & minimise mask 94, On the cloud layer,
New Mask Layer-From Image with these settings



Preset Shapes-Eclipse with these settings



foreground a light grey (we will be adding a paper to it soon) draw out a medium sized
circle - Objects-Align-Align Centre



Magic Wand - Tolerance & Feather 0, click on the new circle. Copy & paste a paper from scrap
kit as a new layer - Selections-Invert, hit delete. Effects-3D Effects-Inner Bevel with these settings



Make your paper circle layer active, give the circle this drop shadow. Delete the drawn circle.



Make mask layer active, copy & paste one of the papers from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize paper 55%
Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Image-Free Rotate-Rotate 45 right. Duplicate the paper, Free Rotate-Rotate 45 left.
Merge the 2 papers together (Merge Down). Selections-Select All-Float-Defloat-Modify-Feather 150. Hit Delete once.
This will give the merged paper layer a misted effect. Add drop shadow as before.

Make your paper circle layer active-Select All-Float-Defloat, copy & paste your tube as a new layer. Position your
tube within the selected circle (you may need to resize your tube, depending on size), Selections-Invert, Eraser Tool,
erase any of the tube sticking out the bottom of the selected circle.When you have done that, Selections-None. Give
your tube same drop shadow as before.

Copy & paste one of the Cornflower elements from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 65% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Duplicate-Image-Mirror-Flip. Move the 1st Cornflower down above the circle layer. Give each Cornflower drop
shadow as before.

Copy & paste one of the butterfly elements from scrap kit as a new layer. Resize 40% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Place the butterfly where it will look nice. Give drop shadow.

You can add any other elements at this stage if you wish.
Add your name & correct copyright. Cross out eyes on bottom layer (white) MERGE VISIBLE all other layers. Have your
merged image active - copy & paste as a new image on your work space. Your merged image should now have a transparent
background. Resize 80% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED. Save as a *Png
