Imperfection is Beauty Tutorial

I created this tutorial using PSPX1 but I'm sure
you can do it in any version.
No scrap kit is used, just your imagination with colours
You will need:
A tube - I am using one of Anthony Guerra's lovely lady tubes.
You will need to be a registered member of Creative Design Outlet (CDO)

to purchase his tubes, but any tube will do.

Plugin Filters:
Eyecandy 4000- Water Drops

Open up the Template, click SHIFT D to copy it. Close original template. Delete top
layer with Kelly's ©.
Make bottom layer active (black), go to Image-Canvas Size- with these settings-800x600

Flood Fill with Black.Over in your Material Pallett have foreground a light colour from your tube,
Background a dark colour from your tube.
Make LgRectangle layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat-new raster layer, Flood Fill with drak colour.
On the original layer, Flood Fill with Light colour. Keep selected, back to the top selected layer. Effects-
Plugins-Eyecandy 4000-Water Drops with these settings
Background a dark colour from your tube.
Make LgRectangle layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat-new raster layer, Flood Fill with drak colour.
On the original layer, Flood Fill with Light colour. Keep selected, back to the top selected layer. Effects-
Plugins-Eyecandy 4000-Water Drops with these settings
Selections-None.
Next, make Rectangles layer active-Select All-Float-Defloat, new raster layer, Flood Fill with
your dark colour. Make original layer active, Flood Fill with your light colour. Make top layer copy
active Go to Effects- Texture Effects-Blinds with these settings
Next, make Rectangles layer active-Select All-Float-Defloat, new raster layer, Flood Fill with
your dark colour. Make original layer active, Flood Fill with your light colour. Make top layer copy
active Go to Effects- Texture Effects-Blinds with these settings
Then add the Eyecandy 4000-Water Drop effect again. Selections-None
Make RightFrameFill layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat-new raster layer, Flood Fill with your dark colour.
Keep selected - add the Blinds Effect. Copy & paste your tube as a new layer, resize if needed. Move your
tube central to the rectangle, Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Effects-Plugins-Xero-Radiance
with these settings
Make RightFrameFill layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat-new raster layer, Flood Fill with your dark colour.
Keep selected - add the Blinds Effect. Copy & paste your tube as a new layer, resize if needed. Move your
tube central to the rectangle, Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Effects-Plugins-Xero-Radiance
with these settings
Make RightFrameBorder layer active - Select All-Float-Defloat-new raster layer, Flood Fill with your light colour.
Blinds Effect as before. Selections-None. Add this drop shadow
Blinds Effect as before. Selections-None. Add this drop shadow
Do the same with the LeftFrameFill & LeftFrameBorder, (mirror your tube before pasting), same settings as before.
Make top layer active (Starline) - Merge Down to RightStarCluster. Select All-Float-Defloat-new raster layer,
Flood Fill with your light colour. Adjust-Add/Remove Noise-Add Noise with these settings
Make top layer active (Starline) - Merge Down to RightStarCluster. Select All-Float-Defloat-new raster layer,
Flood Fill with your light colour. Adjust-Add/Remove Noise-Add Noise with these settings
Selections-None. Adjust-Sharpen. Add drop shadow as before.
Copy & paste your tube as a new layer, placing your tube between the 2 rectangles like mine. Duplicate.
On the bottom tube layer go to Adjust-Blur-Gaussian Blur 6. Then go to Blend Mode-Hard Light. Make top
tube layer active & give the Xero-Radiance effect.
Now, you can add the WordArt if you like. I colourized mine & gave a Eyecandy 4000-GradientGlow effect to mine.
When you have finished, add your name & correct copyright.
Now to finish off this tag, cross out the eyes on the bottom layer (black) Merge VISIBLE all other layers.
Click COPY & paste as a New Image on your workspace. Your merged image should now have a transparent background.
Resize to your liking. I resized mine 85% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED.
Save as a *PNG image
