Rebel Girl Tutorial

I created this tut in PSPX4 (14) but it can be done
with any version of PSP. This is an easy tutorial
with not much to do, just take your time.

You will need:
A tube  - I used one of Zindy Nielsen tubes.
The tube I used is a Pay For Use tube, but Zindy has some
beautiful Free To Use tubes on her site
but any tube will do.
Scrapkit is called 'Versailles' from Scrapity Scraps & More
Mirella allows colourzing of her scrap kits - thank you Mirella
Mask #254 from Chelle of WeeScottsLassCreations
Scroll down to you see the link to Masks 241-300
Font I used is called 'Santa Monica' from Simply The Best Fonts
Plugin Filters:Eyecandy 4000-Gradient Glow
EC-4000-Chrome-Black Latex setting
Xero-Porcelain

Open up the tube you are going to use, also the mask. Minimise
the mask.

New white canvas 700x700

Select All - new raster layer - copy & paste a paper from scrapkit
into selection. Selections-None. New Mask Layer-From Image with these settings

Merge Group. Resize 80% Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Image-Free Rotate 25 right.
I adjusted the Hue & Saturation of the paper to both 0, but that is up to you.

Copy & paste Beige_PearlFrame from scrapkit as a new layer. Resize 70% Bicubic-
all layers unchecked. Again I adjusted the H & S to 0. Effects-Edge Effects-Enhance.
Magic Wand, click inside the frame - Selections-Modify-Expand 5. Copy & paste your paper
once more as a new layer - Selections-Invert, hit delete. Selections-None. Move the paper layer
below the frame layer. Add this drop shadow to the frame

Copy & paste Doodle from scrapkit as a new layer - resize 70% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Image-Free Rotate-Rotate 30 left. Duplicate-Image-Mirror. Merge Down. Duplicate once more,
Image-Flip. Merge Down. Adjust-Sharpen - Effects-Edge Effects-Enhance. Move down below
the paper layer. I use Eyecandy 4000-Chrome-Black Latex setting on the merged Doodles, but that
is up to you.

Have top layer active. Copy & paste Purple_Sachet from scrapkit as a new layer. Resize 50%
Bicubic-all layers unchecked. Adjust-Sharpen. Effects-Edge Effects-Enhance. Position near the top
of the frame (see mine) Duplicate-Image-Mirror, move down to otherside of the frame. Add drop shadow.

Copy & paste Beige_Tag from scrapkit as a new layer - resize 50% Bicubic-all layers unchecked.
Image-Free Roatate-Rotate right 30. Effects-Edge Effects-Enhance. Add drop shadow. Move across
to the left side of the frame.

Copy & paste Rose_Bow from scrapkit as a new layer. Resize 50% Bicubic-all layers uncheced.
Adjust-Sharpen-Effects-Edge Effects-Enhance. Move over top of the Tag. Add drop shadow
Your image should look similar to this

Now it is time to add your tube. I used the Eraser Tool, to erase the bottom part of the tube so
she looks as though she is standing inside the frame. That is up to you. I also use the Xero Porcelain Plugin Filter
with these settings on the tube

Add drop shadow.
Add your name & correct copyright. When you have done that, cross out eyes on bottom layer (white),
Merge Visible all other layers. Click COPY & paste as a New Image on your workspace. Your merged image
should now have a transparent background. Resize to your liking. I resized mine 85% Bicubic-all layers CHECKED.
Save as a *Png Image
