Vintage Sands Tutorial

At the time I created this tutorial, all tubes, scrapkits, etc were
in working links. Sorry if the links no longer work
With scrapkits, if the link or site is missing, choose a similar scrapkit
I created this tut in PSPX1 (11) but it can be done
with any version of PSP. You need to have a good understanding of
your PSP program to do this tutorial.
You will need:
A sitting tube - I used tubes of ©Sara Moons images

Mask #55 is from Enchanted By Darkness
You will find the mask link down the right hand side of her site under Masks 6
Plugin Filter:
Eyecandy4000-GradientGlow for your name & copyright
Open up the mask #2 & minimise it. Also open up the tubes you will be
using & set it aside.
New white canvas 800x800

New raster layer - Selections-Select All. Copy a paper from scrapkit & paste into Selection - I used paper #6

Merge Group
Copy & paste Frame #3 from scrapkit as a new layer. Magic Wand, click inside the frame - Selections-Modify-
Expand 8 - new raster layer - copy paper #6 from scrapkit & paste into selection. Selections-None. Move the paper
layer below the frame layer.
Give the frame this drop shadow
Copy & paste Frame #3 from scrapkit as a new layer. Magic Wand, click inside the frame - Selections-Modify-
Expand 8 - new raster layer - copy paper #6 from scrapkit & paste into selection. Selections-None. Move the paper
layer below the frame layer.
Give the frame this drop shadow
Copy & paste VS Dock from scrapkit as a new layer - move under the frame layer - Freehand Selection Tool, draw
around the top of the pylons poking out from frame like this

Image-Mirror - position accordingly.
Make top layer active - copy & paste VS Grass from scrapkit as a new layer. Move to the left of the frame, so it looks
as though it is behind the 2 piers. Eraser Tool, carefully erase any of the grass infront of the piers.
Copy & paste VS Sand from scrapkit as a new layer - move across slightly to the left at bottom of the frame. Duplicate-
Image-Mirror.
Copy & paste VS Rocks from scrapkit as a new layer - resize 45%SmartSize-all layers unchecked. Adjust-Sharpen More.
Add drop shadow - position the rocks in front of the piers.
At this stage, you can add any other of the elements from scrapkit as you like.
Copy & paste your tube as a new layer - position the tube where it will look nice.
Add your name & correct copyright. When you have done that - cross out the eyes on bottom layer (white) Merge Visible
all other layers. Click COPY & paste as a New Image on your workspace. Resize to your liking. I resized mine
74%SmartSize-all layers CHECKED. Save as a *Png
